教師を目指す人のために
教育学部のカリキュラムを構成していくと、ずいぶん時間が足りないことに気が付きます。教職教養、教科専門、模擬授業や指導法の授業など多岐にわたる授業を３年ほどに詰め込んで、さらに教育実習に行き、教員採用試験対策をして、卒論を書かせる。教えるほうも教わるほうも不十分さを感じながら、詰め込んでいく感覚にさいなまれます。
教師という専門性の高い職業に就くためには、たくさんのことを身につけなければなりませんが、大学の授業を漫然と受けているだけでは当然十分ではありません。自分の専門性を自分で高める習慣と方法を身に着けていくことが大学時代の重要な目標だとすると、教員になるまでの道のりに書籍以外に学ぶ場所が必要となってくるのは当然です。
このサイトは、現職の教員になった卒業生たちに、大学４年間で十分にできなかったことを教師になってから身に着ける機会を設けたいという気持ちで作成していますが、学生の皆さんにもそうした場所となってほしいと願っています。
教職教養に関する知識は、現場に出ると実践に生かされていく専門性の一つです。学習者をとらえる専門性や学習を計画する専門性の中に教職教養は溶け込んでいきます。教員採用試験でも当然、そうした専門性が具体的な教師の仕事に溶け込んでいる姿を見ようとします。また現在の文教政策との結びつきが問われてきます。暗記ではない理解を得るためにコラムにしています。

ここでは、教職教養分野の中でも、様々な事例や実践に関わる法規への理解を深めてほしいと思います。なぜ私たちは必ず教育法規を学ばないといけないのか、学校で働く上で、知っておかなければいけない法律とは何か、そこから私たちの実践をとらえなおすと何が見えてくるのか、こうした側面から、教育法規を学ぶ意味、面白さに迫っていきたいと思います。
